Moon Table in The Workshop.
I was lucky enough to be asked to create a Moon Table for the lovely Billie. There are now two in existence. My one lives in my bedroom and is made from White Beech, her one lives in her bedroom and is made from Blackwood. During the process of making it for her we've become good pals, it's been a lot of fun.
The Moon Table is made with out a single straight line. All of the boards are joined on a curve a disappear into crescent moon shaped top. It's slow way to join boards together, but I really enjoy the process and the final result is well worth the extra effort.
I made the first one while I was studying woodwork at Sturt. It was towards the end of the year and I feel like it was when I finally found my groove in the workshop.
Now I'm still groovin'
